Hoe Balls

IT'S FRIDAY! I recently rented the movie Equilibrium and it was just as good as it was when I first saw it. For those of you who would appreciate a gun based martial art master piece with Christian Bale (Batman Returns actor) I would highly recommend it. And for the record NO I didn't burn it illegally... I swear.

So today I told one of my co-workers that she looked "Hoe Hum", for those of you who try to avoid stupid southern terms and sayings, like myself; it means she looked gloomy. I had never heard that saying either until I married into a southern family. The particular co-worker just happened to be Asian and she said she had never heard the saying and that "Hum" means "Balls" in her "Asian language" (who knows which one). So in essence I started out my day by telling my co-worker that she looked hoe balls. Shortly after, she was acting snooty and I told her to "get off her high horse", apparently high means ass and horse means glue, so I told her to get off her ass glue. Ok so maybe I made the second part of the story up... but it was kind of funny... right? I'm done here.

Alex, you need to ask her what moimoi means....she told me after that particular tenant came in to pay rent one day. Seriously...ask her ;-)
